New Files Panel Placement 🗂️

Hello guys! We need your opinion! We are working on improving the experience of Nowa and one of our goals is to improve the navigation in the software.
We are planning on changing the position of the Files Panel to make quicker to access and work with Files. :card_index_dividers:

Here there are 3 possible options of the new position for the Files Panel:

Which one of the options do you prefer and why?
Do you like the possible options or you have new suggestions?

Option 3 : The files panel is in the same panel as the outline and there is tabs to switch between outline/files.

Option 3 has a cleaner look and smoother workflow imo

I’m thinking about Option 2, but as the app gets more screens and files, it’s easy to lose track of them, even with scrolling. Option 3 shows all the files/screens at once and lets us switch between them easily, which could be better In my opinion.

Option 3 looks great in that example. However, tabs don’t scale well, so it depends if other options are added to the tabs, and how many are added.

I think option : 3
The screen keeps the same size
The left panel stays wide and not loosing height over the new tab

Option 2 if you are targeting developer, most editors have the files as panel on the left side.

Use tabs only for pages at the top, don’t throw tabs everywhere, tabs only for pages.

Make all panels option to resize them.

These stuff must be aligned with other editors that are used by developers.

Make it possible to hide the panels on the left, bottom, and right.
