Important Update for LTD Users – AI Credits & Fair Use

Hey everyone!

Since launching Nowa 3.0 with our powerful new AI agent, we’ve received some concerns from users on Lifetime Deal (LTD) plans regarding the 5 recurring AI messages per month limit — and I’m here to clarify and help.

From day one, our mission at Nowa has been to empower people to build powerful, professional apps — without writing code. And we’ve always done our best to make Nowa accessible to passionate builders like you.

That’s why we’ve consistently included major updates for everyone, including LTD users.
But when it comes to features with a high recurring cost, like our AI agent, offering unlimited usage under a one-time payment simply isn’t sustainable. From a business perspective, doing so would result in significant ongoing losses — ultimately risking our ability to continue improving Nowa for everyone.

:bulb: We reinvest every dollar we make into making Nowa better and into helping you build great things.

That said, we hear you — and we want to be fair. Here’s how we’re thinking about it:

:mag: Why only 5 messages?

  1. Each AI prompt is powerful
    We launched with our most advanced and costly model. It can generate entire screens or features in a single go, meaning you often need fewer prompts than expected to get meaningful results.

  2. More models coming soon
    We’ll release lighter AI models that cost less to run — and we plan to make them more accessible for LTD users.

  3. Support for heavy AI usage
    If you’re building heavily with AI, we’re open to offering discounts for switching to the Scale plan or for topping up extra AI credits — so you can keep building without limits.

You can as LTD holder buy AI credits when you need to. They also have no expiration date! You can do that in your dashboard by doing to the Settings > AI credits, and there you can charge the amount you need :slight_smile:

:gift: Good News for LTD Users

As a thank you for supporting us early, every LTD plan will receive a one-time free credit package when Nowa 3.0 exits BETA.

  • The amount will depend on your tier (e.g., Tier 4 will get the most, Tier 1 the least)
  • These credits will never expire
  • This is our way of compensating for the one-time nature of LTD plans

For subscription plans, AI credits will continue to renew monthly.

We hope this clears things up and shows how committed we are to supporting all of you — whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just joined.

Your free-tier users — people who haven’t paid anything — are getting 5 AI messages per month. As LTD paid customers, we’re also limited to the exact same 5 messages per month. How is it fair that we, as early adopters who invested in Nowa, are receiving the same allowance as those who use the product for free?

Hey @Chandril_Ghosh. Seems you missed reading the most important part in the post :slight_smile:

We will release a free one-time AI credit package for LTD holders only when Nowa 3.0 goes out of beta in the next 4-6 weeks to be fair for all.

The amount will depend on the Tier itself.

Seems pretty disappointing.

I bought Nowa LTD over 1 yr ago…I remained patient with the app despite having lots of bugs.

This new pricing doesnt really do justice for the ltd holders (down grading accounts to free account with some AI credits )

LTD accounts shouldn’t be what determines whether the product is successful or not …that should be the paying user.

Thanks for this update — as an LTD user I appreciate the goodwill credit. Quick suggestion that would help power users without adding cost for Nowa:

Let LTD users optionally import external LLM API keys (eg: openrouter). That lets us run heavy jobs on our own quota while Nowa keeps supporting the built-in agent for everyone.
This keeps Nowa sustainable and gives LTD users a clear way to scale.
